Travel Charges

To avoid hidden extras, travel within the highlighted zone is free.  Travel outside this area is charged a flat rate of £10 plus any toll charges.

Initial Consultation

All horses must have a one off initial consultation.

Treatments

Follow-up treatments may be remedial massage or just a general maintenance massage.  If your horse is being treated for a specific problem then it is ideally performed once a week for 4-5 weeks.  Otherwise, your horse may only need up to 4 massages a year.

Pre-event massage

Get your horse warmed up and loosened before a competition and reduce the risk of injury during the event.  Ideally used up to 4 hours before an event. 

Pre-event massage can only be booked as part of the 'competition package' or pre-booked for events Rachel is attending in 2010. Alternatively, you may wish to book a maintenance massage at least 3 days prior to an event.

Post-event massage

Help reduce stiffness and speed up recovery after competition.  Also useful for identifying areas of trauma that develop during the event.  Ideally used between 2-4 hours after the event. 

Post-event massage can be booked as part of the 'competition package' or pre-booked for events Rachel is attending.

Specials

Check over

A great way to check if there are any obvious problem areas without having to pay for a full massage.  Lasting around 10 minutes, you can have your horse checked over and discuss your requirements with Rachel.  THIS IS NOT A TREATMENT, therefore veterinary consent is not required, but veterinary consent will still be required should you wish to book a treatment following the check over. 

Get all your horses checked over when Rachel is visiting your yard!  Check overs can also be pre-booked for events Rachel is attending.
